The head of Instagram ‘’Adam Mosseri’’ confirmed the pause on the introduction of the app as he wrote in a blog post ‘’This will give us more time to work with parents, experts, policymakers and regulators to listen to their concerns, and to demonstrate their value and importance of this project for younger teens online today’’. He also added that they’ll continue to build opt-in parental supervision tools for teens. Thus, he meant that it is better for parents to have control over their children and supervise them as well while using this app. The app will require parental permission to join which indicates safety for every child.

So, Facebook sees it as a great idea to develop an app that is specially designed for them.
